DS Pharma Biomedical Co., Ltd. (until June 2006, Sumitomo Seiyaku Biomedical Co., Ltd.) started operations in April 2001. Continuing the business of the Laboratory Products Div. of Dainippon Sumitomo Pharma in April 2007, our operations presently comprise research and development, import, sale, and marketing of in-vitro diagnostics and research materials. Our activities in research products encompass the research and development and supply of cell lines, culture media, sera, reagents and devices for laboratories in research institutions, government organizations, and companies involved in fundamental research in pathology and life science. We intend to make a contribution through the supply of useful in-vitro diagnostics and research materials to meet the medical needs growing due to the society composed largely of elderly people.
