This Symansis AccuKineTM ELISA kit contains human cell expressed recombinant human granulocyte / macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF). The uniqueness of this kit is based on the fact that the protein used as a standard has human cell specific post-translational modifications, which are distinctly different from human proteins produced in non-human cell systems. These differences are reflected in quite different immunoreactivity and standard curves compared to human proteins expressed in non-human cells such as E.coli, insect, mouse and CHO cells.
