Erbstatin analog is a stable and cell-permeable inhibitor of epidermal growth factor (EGF) receptor-associated tyrosine kinase (IC50 = 780nM) with a longer half-life in aqueous solution than erbstatin itself. It inhibits the activation of v- abl tyrosine kinase and induces apoptosis in mouse thymocytes.
