Sprague-Dawley Rat Mesenchymal Stem Cells
Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) are multipotent stem cells that can differentiate into a variety of cell types, including osteocytes, adipocytes, and chondrocytes. MSCs porliferate quickly and are capable of generating a local immunosuppressive microenvironment, which contributes to their wide application potentials in tissue engineering, cell therapy and gene therapy. Cyagen OriCell Sprague-Dawle (SD) Rat Mesenchymal Stem Cells are derived from bone marrow of SD rats, cultured as monolayer, and cryopreserved at the second passage. These cells express specific clusters of differentiation proteins for MSCs, and have a strong capacity for self-renewal while maintaining their multipotency. They are tested negative for bacteria, fungi and mycoplasma.
